Abducted

Nationalist, June, 1921.

Two girls taken from their home at Coolbawn, Castlecomer district by masked and armed men, who a Dublin Castle report states, cut their hair because it was alleged that they had been talking to the police. They were told that if there were any reprisals they would be shot.

Sir---During the first 25 days of June the amount of rain and dew collected here was less than one-sixth of an inch.

Dr. E. Dundon , Medical Officer, Borris, who has been for some time confined in Carlow Military Barracks, has been removed to the Curragh Internment Camp.
