In the book, Mary Pickford, From Here To Hollywood - by Scott Eyman

"Her Mother's parents, John Pickford Hennessey and Catherine Faeley, both emigrated from Co. Kerry but did not meet until they arrived Canada. (*c1850's). This union resulted in Charlotte Hennessey, Mary's mother, who was said to have been born on Toronto's Queen St".

"Although the Hennessey's were ardent Catholics, John Pickford Hennessy, like many of his country men was a good man with the bottle."

Francis-Butler - On June 2nd, at St. Ann's church, Poplar Point, by the Rev. A.W. Goulding, assisted by the Rev. J.C. Coggs, John Francis, DLSV, of Poplar Point, to Violet, eldest daughter of Capt. Richard P. Butler, Moyle Farm, Poplar Point, granddaughter of the late Sir Richard Pierce Butler, Bart., of Ballin Temple and Garryhunden, Co. Carlow, Ireland.

6 June 1903 - "Odessa American," Odessa, Texas, USA

Leshnower-Doran - Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. - Jennifer Leshnower of Ossining, N.Y., and Pascal Doran of Carlow, Ireland, were married June 29 at Estherwood in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y., with Rabbi Albert Sturmer and the Rev. Giles Spoonhour officiating. The bride is the daughter of Dr. Alan C. and Susan Leshnower of Odessa. She is a 1985 graduate of Permian High School and holds degrees in music performance from Rice University and Peabody Conservatory of Music. She has been a member of the Manhattan-based Cassatt String Quartet since 1996 and a former member of the Thouvenel String Quartet and Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale. The groom is the son of Maureen Doran of Tinryland, County Carlow, Ireland and the late Patrick J. Doran. He is a graduate of the Regional Technical College in Carlow with a degree in mechanical engineering and holds a diploma in automotive electrical engineering from the City and Guilds of London. He founded and is director of Carlow Commercials, as well as co-director of Exatt Industries Ltd. Honor attendants were: Sean Doran, Lloyd Leshnower, Colm Doran, Brad Leshnower, Ambrose Doran, Miriam Doran, Abbe Krieger, Veronique Kibel, Aifric Doran, Katelyn Doran, Billy Evans, Tori Evans, Annabelle Gutterman and Julia Gutterman. They live in both Carlow and Ossining.

9 February 1915 - "Manitoba Free Press," Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Pryce - Deacon - The marriage of Margaret Eleanor Pryce to Frederick Loder Deacon took place at St. James parish church, Feb. 4. The bride is the niece of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley, 824 Ashburn street, and eldest daughter of Abraham Pryce, Tullow, County Carlow, Ireland. The bridegroom is the second son of George William Deacon, Reading, England. The bride was attended by Miss Creeden, and the bridegroom by his brother. The happy couple will reside at 760 Ashburn street.

17 June 1933 - "The Marion Star," Marion, Ohio, USA

Houghton-Corrigan - Arnold W. Houghton of Marion and Miss Elizabeth Corrigan of County Carlow, Ireland, were united in marriage at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs.E. - Houghton, on Gurley avenue, by Rev. George M. Rourke of Springfield, former pastor of the --- Presbyterian church here. The wedding was the culmination of a romance which began when Mr. Houghton met Miss Corrigan on the S.S. Teutonic while on a trip abroad with his parents the preceding year.

August 25, 1933 St. Ann's R.C., Griffintown/Montreal - M9 Coleman Faherty son of age of John Faherty and Mary O'Flaherty, (looks like) Spiddal, parish, Co. Galway, Ireland. TO: Johanna Ryan, daughter of age of John Ryan and of Alice (looks like) Commins?? of the parish, archdiocese of  Cashel, Ireland. Wit: Patrick O'Flaherty, Delia Burke, Patrick Faherty, John Scott. Couple declared they did not sign a contract of marriage.

The persons below found in the parish register of Portpatrick Wigtownshire Scotland

Captain Thomas ACKLOW of the 38th Regiment of Foot Quartered at Kilbeggan Co of Westmeath on the 5th of December 1804 married Miss Susanna Hughes of Carlow and County Carlow.
