Assaulted on Graigue Bridge 1818

James Goold of Arditegle in the Queen's County, Coal Carryer,

Swears that he was returning with his horse and car from Carlow on Saturday the 7th day of March 1818 when he was assaulted on Graigue Bridge by John Byrne who caught James Goold by the neck and shook him then Richard Byrne the Father of John Byrne seized his horse and pulled the Collar from its head.

Sworn before Robert Jackson.
