There was an enquiry from Robert Marshall, USA, Dated 1982 and another from David Marshall, Aust. dated 1989. Robert requested information on his grandfather, Henry Marshall of The Ridge, Leighlinbridge.

Pat replied with the following information.

They had the following family:

Mary, born 1851.
Andrew, born 1855.
Catherine, born 1858.
William, born 1863.

The family left Ireland in 1865. Andrew Marshall was the father of Robert who contacted Pat Purcell in 1982.

The enquiry from David Marshall related to Joseph Marshall, Farmer, born circa 1834. Married at St. Lazerians Cathedral, Leighlin. He had a brother Andrew. left Ireland circa1851.
