The Jurors of our Lord the King upon their Oath, present that Laurence Toole of Monastil , Carlow, yeoman on the 16th day of Sept in the fifth Year of the Reign of our Lord William the Fourth, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland , King, Defender of the Faith and soforth at Scotland in the County of Carlow one Quart of Milk of the Value of one penny the Goods and Chattles of Nicholas Toole there being found feloniously unjustly and unlawfully did then and there steal take and carry away contrary to the peace of our said Lord the King his Crown and Dignity.
