Place. Before Hay
Market was established and enlarged, School Lane is recorded on maps
directly alongside the front of Nancy Whiskey's (named after thev 1960s
Liverpool singer of that name, her Big Hit was "Fright Train". There
is an early 1700s map, such as Molands map which records School Lane
and Play Place in Haymarket area. There were "free schools" built in
