The the following memorial inscriptions are from inside St. Mary's Church of Ireland, Carlow town.

 In Memory of Colonel Henry Bruen D L of Oak Park Member of Parliament for the Borough of Carlow. 1812 -1852 died 5th Nov 1852.
A window is dedicated to Mary Magdalene Browne Clayton.

A plaque on the reading desk to Godfrey Colpoys Bloomfield, and Ellen his wife erected by their daughter.  
 On the reredos Robert Clayton Browne died July 22nd 1888.

East window, Altar:
To memory of Mary Ann Coltman Hagnary Priory, Lancashire died May 21st
Erected by her daughter Georgiana in 1893 (Lady Burton, Pollerton, Carlow).

Below the East Window
"Deus Gubernante Navel"
  This monument was erected to the memory of Rev. Joseph Jameson, AM. Rector of Carlow. by parishioners and friends in testimony of their respect and esteem. For forty years fulfilled his ministering duty in this parish with full fitness and zeal.

A Silver Salver is inscribed:
In Memory of Jocelyn H. W. Thomas of Belmont Carlow, died 22"d October 1932., aged 93 for over sixty years an active and trusted worker in this parish

On the South wall of the chancel:
Thomas Gurley Esq. To the memory of his son Bagnel (Gurley) died 25th February 1796. aged 25 years

North wall:
  In memory of Reverend Charles Doyne died 31st May aged 66 years. Deposited in the vault of the Parish Church of St. Nicholas within Dublin.

A tablet is dedicated to the beloved memory of Sir Charles W Cuffe Burton of Pollerton in this county (80th year),

1902 Benjamin Francis McDowell MD. Trinity College, Dublin. Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland, Surgeon to Mercer's Hospital, died February 8th 1879 aged 38 years.

In loving memory of my dear father Charles William McDowell of Otterholt, died Nov. 7th 1893 aged 52 years.

  William Browne Esq. 1763-1840 aged 77 years. A magistrate and Custos Rolatorum of this county.  Lady Charlotte his wife, (daughter of Joseph Deane, Earl of Mayo, Archbishop of Tuam) 13th Nov.1769 15th June 1806 aged 37 years.

  To the memory of Charles Fitzroy Stanhope Vigors Esq. Late of 87th Royal Irish Fusiliers. 10th April 1844 aged 33 years, fifth son of N A Vigors of Old Leighlin and Erindale

The Carlow Young Men's' Christian Association. Some friends have erected this tablet to the memory of Edmund Trouton A.B. curate of this parish for two years and founder of same. He fell asleep January the ninth 1859 aged 28 years.

In proud and loving memory of Aubrey Jocelyn Nugent Thomas Captain, Lancashire Fusiliers Who fell at the head of his company at Lancaster Landing, Gallipoli 25th April 1915
