FROM THE TIPPERARY VINDICATOR 21st APRIL 1868. American Obituary-Copied from the Boston Pilot. FLANIGAN, Denis, died in Florence, N.Y., Feb. 25th, native of Kilmallock, Co. Limerick, age 61. He was a kind husband, a good father and a true and honest neighbour. After receiving the last sacraments, he died surrounded by his family and other loved and loving friends. He was interred in the Catholic Cemetery of Florence. CORCORAN, James, Feb., 27th, age 21 years. Fourth son of Michael and Mary CORCORAN, at his father's residence in Killenaule, Co. Tipperary. He was a young man of superior intelligence. He was the pride of his parents and was much esteemed by all who knew him. He suffered a long and painful illness of three years duration, which he bore with Christian resignation and fortitude.
