Holycross Abbey - Here lies the body of Thomas Cullen, who died 28 April
1754, aged 76, and Anastasia Cullen alias Marnil; died 4 Jan 1789, aged 100,
and Cath. Cullens als. Bourke, died 22 Jan. 1792, aged 36; Mr John
Cullen of Holycross died, 2 Dec. 1838, aged 70, and his wife Mary Cullen als
Dalton, died 13 Nov. 1839, aged 62. Miss Mgt. Cullen died, 9 May 1848, aged
90, and her nephew Mr. John Cullen of Thurles died 21 Nov. 1864, aged 56.
Templemore Graveyard
Erected to the memory of Daniel Lanigan, Barrister at Law, eldest son of
Stephen Lanigan of Templemore, who departed this life 11th day of February
1822, in the 30th year of his age.
Robert Ball Fitzgerald, born 16th Nov. 1853; died 5th April. 1877. R.I.P.
Charles Clarke Fitzgerald to memory of his wife Eliza Jane Fitzgerald, who
was born 13 April 1830; died 1st April 1857.
Ballycahill. Thomas Armstrong of Moyaliff died 20th July 1741, aged 79.
Walter Burke died 1794, aged 77; his wife Mary Ryan died 1793 aged 60.
John Burke died 1797, aged 24.
Templederry. Col Henry Otway died Wednesday, 19th Jan. 1736, aged 37.
Moycarkey Graveyard:- James Butler died 1779, aged 50. John
Mara died 1771,
age 74. Dan Mc Guire died 1725, age 49. In the present chapel yard is
tomb of Mrs Eliz. Fallon of Cabra Castle, wife of Col. Fallon, and sister of
Val. Maher of Turtulla and John Maher of Tullamaine; she died 1875, aged
87.
Max:- erected by William Max of Maxfort in memory of his wife, who d. 1863
and his son William Max, who d. 1867
John Cormack died 1791, aged 63.
Ballymoreen Graveyard:- Thomas Lamphier died at Waterford 1823, aged 41 or 47 (?);
his maternal Aunt, Anne Pennefeather died at Littleton in 1830, and John L.
of Parkstown d. 1770. John Going of New Hill, died 1831. Margaret Baker d.
1752. Michael Lahy died 1774.
Ryan Inch. Tombstone in Nenagh Graveyard; - To Frances, wife of John
Minchin of Annagh, only daughter of Dan Ryan of Inch, and relict of Power of
Waterford; she died, 1696.
Loughmore Graveyard. John Cahill of Ballycahill Ho. died 1803, aged 56.
His grandson, Charles Brophy of Thurles, student of Maynooth College, d. 1811, age 20.
