Carlow Sentinal
Saturday morning. September 11th 1920.
Warning to traders and shopkeepers in Carlow.
In consequence of a report submitted to the chairman of
Carlow Urban Council on Tuesday concerning the continued obstruction of
the public thoroughfares and pathways in the town by shopkeepers and
traders displaying their goods for sale in the most congested portions
of the streets and refusing to obey the instructions of the council to
remove same, the council decided to issue one more warning to the
traders, if this is not complied with, instructions will be given to the
Irish Volunteers in Carlow to take stringent steps in the matter.
