Charlotte Street was the home of the famous
Ritz Ballroom
A copy of a map of Carlow showing part of Charlotts
street and the location of Wesleyan Church which is
the location of Coleman Cycles shop today 2023.

This image is of the
Coleman Cycle workshop in Charlotte Street in
Carlow. In 1789 a new Methods church was built here
long before Coleman opened his workship.
This was know as the Bonne-Bouche in Charlotte
Street. Now Funfair Amusements. Mr Paddy Curran from
Doonane owned the Bonne Bouche. Mr McDonald from the
Kilkenny road was the proprietor of the Bon Bon, It
closed when he died. (Photo
