Fleming,
the retired parish priest of Ballyadams, County Laois, died,
peacefully, at his home in Teach Moling, Oak Park, Carlow, on

Aged 84 years
old, he was originally from Ardattin, Tullow, and moved to
Carlow town when he retired in 2000.
He was educated
in Knockbeg College and Maynooth College before being ordained
in June 1952.
Fr. Fleming
served in several parishes in the dioceses, including Clonmore,
Clonaslee, the Curragh camp and, finally, Ballyadams.
He was a big,
strong athletic man who, in his younger days, enjoyed playing
football with Kilbride. Fr. Fleming was a hugely sociable person
too and was great for keeping in touch with his many friends.

with Requiem Mass being celebrated today, Tuesday, at 2 p.m.
Fr. Fleming is
