Forces for John O'Brien of Tullow. John joined the National
Forces on the 28th of March 1928 at the age of 18 years and 7 months. He
served 12 years and 155 days between the Infantry and Infantry reserve
and his service terminated on the 6th of September 1940. John's address
on date of discharge is given as 5 Brewery Lane, Carlow. Trade; labourer
and character being 'Very Good'. His next of kin being his wife, Mary
O'Brien.
