On the bottom right hand corner of Image No. 2 you can just make out the name: 97 Renshaw Street? Liverpool. England. This is the studio mark. I cannot make out the name of the studio.

Dear Carlow Listers.

I don't know who the women are in the two pictures. The group of three may have been bridesmaids at my grandparents wedding, in which case they would have been acquaintances or relatives (?) of Mary Elizabeth Sheil, who married John Joseph Nolan of Graigue @1905. The picture of the single lady may have been a cousin of Mary Elizabeth..."Ciss" Sheil...but I'm not sure. The gentleman is my G-G Grandfather Thomas James Nolan, who owned a dry goods shop at No.3 Maryboro Street. He married Agnes King of Graigue and is buried in Grange cemetery.

I'm hoping that in addition to naming the women in the two photographs I may be able to help someone find a lost relative.

Image No. 3 ??
On the back of this postcard photo is the words "The Parrs"
Anyone know who they are?

Maribeth (nolanme@verizon.net)
