					The Information of Francis R. Malcomson, 
					Esq. of Kilgraney in the parish of Lorum, Barony of Idrone 
					East, Carlow.
					
					Sworn and examined Francis R. Malcomson 
					Saith that he was present at the Petty Sessions at 
					Bagenalstown on the 28th day of December 1846 and heard the 
					evidence given by Richard Todd of Ballinkillen, Carlow in 
					the case against Mary Adine (Adair ?), Mary Kirwan, Thomas 
					Gihain, Dan Hogan and Dan Foley for stealing turnips from 
					off the lands of   - ? - in Carlow on the 24th day of 
					December 1846. Mr Malcomson states that Richard Todd had 
					told him repeatedly that he could identify the persons named 
					for the said offence of stealing turnips, which duty he 
					failed to do on the day of the court hearing.
					
					Mr Malcomson further swears that the 
					evidence given by Richard Todd was false and that Richard 
					Todd wilfully and knowingly committed corrupt perjury in the 
					evidence so given.
