Largon vs John Murphy
To; John Murphy,
Straboe, 19th April 1820.
By Henry Watters Esq. one of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace for Carlow.
Whereas Complaint was made unto
me by John Largon, Land Surveyor, of the Town of
Carlow, that being Lawfully hired by John Murphy,
Farmer, of Straboe, Carlow to Instruct him the said
John Murphy in parts of the Mathematicks and having
done so and it having also been proved before me
upon Oath that the said John Murphy was duly served
with a Summons to appear before me at Staplestown,
Carlow and Shew Cause why he refused to pay the same
and the said John Murphy having appeared - I proved
this day to the hearing of said Complaint and do
find and adjudge that there is now Owing from John
Murphy to John Largon the Sum of Three Pounds Ten
Shillings Sterling. I therefore order and direct and
require John Murphy to pay same to John Largon
within four days after sight of or delivery to you
of this my order or you will be further proceeded
against According to the Statute in that Case made
and provided,
- Given under my hand and Seal
- this 19th day of April 1820.

Appeal to Magistrates, 5th May
1820, by John Murphy, Farmer against Warrant for
Tithes from Henry Watters Esq. Magistrate, Justice
of the Peace, Staplestown, Carlow, for Three Pounds
Ten Shillings. Respondent : John Largon,
Schoolmaster, Town of Carlow.
Witnesses: Dennis Murphy of
Straboe and Nicholas Murphy of Carlow.

Thomas DeRenzy of Carnew in the County of
Wicklow, Esquire, the Receiver of the Rents of
Thomas Codd, Plaintiff. Owen Kehoe and others,
Defendant, in this case, Thomas DeRenzy maketh Oath
and Saith that he hath read the original Civil Bill
Ejectment and that the Contants thereof are true in
every respect, as this Deponent verily believes,
