2 ANDERSON
  This headstone is shaped like a scroll.
  In Loving Memory of Samuel Reid Anderson, Killinure, Tullow. died 18th Jan. 1945 aged 62 yrs. Also His Sons Granville died 13th Dec. 1937 aged 17 yrs. William Sergt. R.A.F. died while on Active Service 26th Jan 1942 aged 33 yrs. Interred in Singapore Military Cemetery, and his wife Elizabeth Ann died 29th Sept. 1948 aged 64 yrs.

17 BALFOUR
  This is a rectangular shaped headstone.
  Sacred To The Memory of Robert Balfour pic 71st  B Highind Lt Infantry. A Native of Montrose, Scotland who Died at Carlow, 17th Novr 1849. Aged 20 years. “In life be faithful and in death find rest”.
   
9 BELL
  This is a white marble headstone with scroll type designs on the sides.
  In Memory of James C Bell who changed worlds April 18th 1869 aged 40 years, also his brother Robert Bell who died 29th Decr 1889 aged 63 years, also on June 24th1913. John Henry Bell M.R.C.V.S. Lond Late Captn of S.A.C. younger son of above J.C. Bell aged 48 years, and Harriett Sarah, widow of J.C. Bell, who entered into rest 28th  Nov.1920 aged 79 years. “Rest in the Lord”  S/C Coates Dublin
   
10 BELL
  This is a white marble headstone with scroll type designs on the sides.
  Robert James Bell, elder son of James C & Harriett Bell, died October 26th 1928, aged 65 years. “He hath awakened from the dream of life”. S/C Walsh Carlow.
   
7 BISHOP
  This is a white marble rectangular shaped headstone with a rope design at either side of the inscription. In Affectionate Remembrance of Philip Cook Bishop, for some years, Huntsman, Houston Kennels, Renfrewshire, who died at Ballydarton, Bagenalstown on the 1st January 1884 Aged 56 years. “His End Was Peace”. Erected by his Children. S/C Kavanagh Carlow.
   
12 BLACK
  There is a vase embedded on this kerbing stone, with inscription on it.

26 CAMPION
  This is a Tomb.
  Henry Campion Died 20th Nov. 1851 aged 30. To whose memory this Tomb was Erected by his affectionate Father Job Leonard Campion. Here also is intered the body of Elleanor Jane Campion, Daughter of Job Leonard Campion. Who died 11th Febry 1853. Here lies the body of Mary Anne Campion, wife of the above Job Campion who died 8th January 1857 aged -1 years.

11 DEMPSTER
  This is a rectangular headstone with a marble plaque for the inscription.
  In Loving Remembrance of the Revd Joseph Dempster, for almost twenty years the faithful Minister of Carlow Presbyterian Church, who died on the 15th Feb. 1914, aged 59 years, also his infant son Ronald John who died on the 6th May 1897, aged seven weeks. — “Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world”. S/C Hughes Carlow.
   
5 DUNLOP
  This is a square shaped headstone with a curved top.
  Robert Dunlop, aged 44 years. “Thy Will Be Done
   
1 ELLIOTT
  This is a small headstone with a leaf design over the inscription and to the sides.
  In Loving Memory of Thomas Atkinson Elliott, Died 29th Oct. 1959. “Jesus is our Shepherd”. S/C Walshe Carlow.
   
21 HAMILTON
  The inscription on this broken and recumbent headstone reads:
  Sacred to the memory of Alexander Hamilton, Son of William & Jane Hamilton of the 71st Highland Infantry who departed this life on the 22nd July 1837, Aged 3 years and 8 Months.
   
15 HEGGIE
  Erected by Elizabeth Heggie, in memory of her beloved Husband James Gilmour Ness Heggie, Kennoway, Fifeshire, Scotland. Born Novr 9th 1832 . Died Febry 20th 1876,, When on a visit to his friends in Carlow, He was faithful to the end, and that his last end was peace.
   
30 HENDERSON
  This is a broken recumbent headstone.
  Sacred to the memory of George Henderson died 1846, Henry Henderson died in 1848, John Henderson died in 1857, Catherine, wife of William Henderson died January 1880, also their children Elizabeth died 1858, Robert, Dougles died 1863, John Henry died 1872. “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord “. Revelations XIV.
   
29 HOLMES
  The inscription on this headstone reads:- Asleep in Jesus, Bessie Holmes, who departed this life February 16th 1849. Aged nearly nineteen years.
27 JACKSON
  This is a Tomb.
  To the memory of John Jackson, of Carlow who departed this life February 6th 1850, aged 63 years, also his daughter Jane M. Jackson who died February 12th 1818 aged 31 years. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord “. Rev. XIV 13 If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1 Thess IV 14

6 JOLLY
  This is a rectangular shaped headstone with an edged and pointed top.
  Erected by Mrs Jolly. In Loving Remembrance of her husband James Jolly, who died at Shankill Castle on the 12th December 1884 Aged 39 years. S/C Kavanagh Carlow.

  This is a scroll shaped white marble headstone with a leaf design on the base.
  In Loving Memory of Jane Anne Kinniar, who fell asleep in Jesus 2nd Sept. 1893 aged 20 years.
   
13 LOCKHART
  This is a white marble rectangular headstone with a curved top.
  Erected in memory of Sarah Lockhart, Daughter of the Late James Lockhart, Ballyatwood, Co. Down, who entered into rest January 17th 1892 aged 54 years. S/C Hughes Carlow.
   
8 MAGILL
  This headstone is of white marble in the shape of a crest.
  In Loving Remembrance of Alice Magill, wife of the Rev. R.T. Bailey M.A. who fell asleep in Jesus 31st Oct. 1888 aged 22 years. “Her price was far above rubies”. Also the said Rev. Robert Taylor Bailey M.A. who was installed Minister of Carlow Presbyterian Church on November 1887 and who died 3rd November 1914, at Warrenpoint, Co. Down, where he is interred. “He rests from his labours”. S/C Coates Dublin.
18 MAIR
  This is a rectangular shaped headstone.
  Sacred to the Memory of Maria Mair Wife of Colour Sergeant John Mair 71st Highland Light Infantry who departed this life at Carlow on the 19th January 1849 aged 25 years. “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord”. S/C White Sculpt Carlow.
   
24 MITCHELL
  This is a large rectangular headstone.
  Erected by George and Ann Mitchell in memory of their Daughters Isobell Mitchell who died Novbr, 7th,1862, aged 10 years 11 months, also Sarah Thompson Mitchell who died Decbr, 3rd, 1863 aged 7 years 11 months. “I am the Resurrection and the life”. John XI 25. Also the above Ann Mitchell who died Feb. 12th , 1887, aged 57 years. And also her daughter Margaret Mitchell who died April 19th, 1891, aged 33 years and 7 months. Also the above George Mitchell died May 20th , 1907, aged 81 years.

25 ROBIE / JARVIS
  This is a small rectangular headstone.
  In Memory of Helen Robie, Wife of Alexander Jarvis who died on the 10th July 1852 aged 56 years. She was a native of Edvell in Scotland. Also her infant son David who died on the 18th July aged 14 Days. “For here have we no no continuing City, but we Seek one to come . Hebrews.
   
3 ROBINSON
  This is a marble plaque on a kerbing stone.
  In Memory of my husband John Robinson, Carlow, who entered into rest Jan 20th 1919. We’ve no abiding City here”.
   
4 ROSS
  This headstone is arch shaped, the top left corner is broken.
  In Loving Memory of ...yne Frances Ross, who died February 14th 1885 Aged 1 year. “He shall gather the lambs in His arms”. Isaiah XL 11. S/C Kavanagh Carlow.

23 THOMPSON
  Erected by Sarah Thompson. In loving memory of her Father Benjamin Thompson, native of Johnshaven, Scotland, who died in faith at his residence Woodlandss, Castledermot, on the 28th Novr, 1886 Aged 83 years. Also the above Sarah Thompson who died 31st March 190.. Aged 73 years. “O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee”. Psalms 84. 12.  S/C Kavanagh Carlow.
   
14 WALKER
  This is a white marble rectangular shaped headstone.
  Erected by John Walker, Shrule. In loving memory of his daughter Sarah Walker who died 17th December 1881, aged 9 months, also his father Robert Walker who dep this life 21st March 1889 aged 94 years, and of his wife Helen Walker who by the Will of God fell on sleep 8th April 1911, aged 70 years. The above mentioned John Walker, also was called home August 4th 1926 aged 84 years. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord”.  S/C Kavanagh Carlow.
   
32 WALKER
  This is a scroll shaped plaque in Scots Church.
  In Affectionate Remembrance of Helen Walker beloved wife of John Walker, Shrule Castle, who died 8th April 1911, aged 70 years. John Walker entered into rest August 4th 1926, aged 84 years. “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God”. Matt V 8.  S/C Harrison & Sons, Dublin
20 WANN
  The inscription on this headstone reads:- Sacred to the memory of Colour Serjeant John Wann, Light Company 92nd Highlanders, (a native of Dundee) who died at Carlow 31st March 1830 after a rapid illness of three days Aged 26 years. This stone has been erected by the Officers, Non-commissioned Officers and Privates of his Company as an unfeigned Tribute of their respect.
   
19 WATSON
  This is a rectangular shaped headstone with an arched top.
  To the Memory of Ann Watson, late Wife of Serjt  R. Watson. 78th  Regt Depd. this life 26th FebY 1823 aged 25 years.
  “Death is swallowed up in victory,
  O death where is thy sting,
  O grave where is thy victory,
  The sting of death is sin,
  and the strength of sin is law.
  But thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through Our Lord Jesus Christ”.  Cor. XV 54,55 56 & 57 Erectd by NO 4 Coy 78th Regt as a mark of respect.
   
22 WEBSTER
  This is a monument in the shape of a steeple.
  Erected to the memory of Henry Webster of Ballykeenan, Co Carlow who dept. this life August 10th 1881, aged 64 years. “Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright for the end of that man is peace”. Ps. 37 Ch 37 Ver.
  Left side of headstone Also his daughters Margaret and Agnes who died March 10th 1861 aged respectively 8 years and 8 months, and 6 years 6 months.
  Back of headstone, Also his wife Agnes who died 17th Octr 1904 aged 86 years.
   
31 WHITMORE
  This is a large monument with a floral design on the top.
  In affectionate remembrance of Eliza, who departed this life on the 16th day of January 1872, aged 42 years. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord”.
28 WOODS
  This headstone is broken and recumbent.
  In loving memory of Maria, the beloved Wife of George Woods of Carlow who died in great peace March 14th 1869 aged 48 years. In her tongue was the law of kindness Crov. 31st Chap. 26 vers. Also in memory of four dear children and of George Jordon Woods, Her Husband who died in Dublin 8th Sept 1896 aged 79 years. “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord”.
