Giving name, Date of inquest, Where held, and Finding of each inquiry. Taken from the British Parliamentary Papers on Ireland. Note: "VISITATION FROM GOD" was a death where the cause was unknown. CONNELL, Michael, 22nd Feb. in Drumeil. Died at Drumeil, in the County Londonderry on Sat. 20th inst., and that deceased came by his death from injuries inflicted by Thomas and James Campbell, at Milltown, Ballymoney, in the County of Antrim, on the 18th. DOGHERTY, James, on the 8th April, in the County Gaol, died by visitation of God. McCULLEM, Robert, on the 16th April, at Dervock, died by being accidentally killed by the wheel of a cart passing over his body, he being in a state of intoxication. O'HARA, John H. on the 24th May, at Toberdoney, died by being accidentally drowned. ROSS, John, on the 6th July, at Randalstown, died by visitation of God. MERRIMAN, Mary, on the 13th July, at the County Gaol, died by visitation of God. WILDER, James, on the 19th Aug, at Cushendal, died by shooting himself, he being insane at the time. HODGSON, Charles, on the 15th Oct., at Portrush. Died from accidental drowning. COUNTY TOWN OF CARRICKFERGUS. PATTERSON, Margaret, on the 1st May, at Carrickfergus, died from accidental drowning. MEHAFRY, Robert and Jane, died 28th Nov. at Carrickfergus, in consequence of fatigue and exposure to the inclemency of the weather.
