WILLS: McDaniel, John November 3, 1742 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Armagh Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed byRosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com April 27, 2018, 4:16 pm WILLS: MCDANIEL, JOHN NOVEMBER 3, 1742 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: November 3, 1742 Recorded: April 27, 2018 In the Name of God Amen I John McDaniel of the County of Armagh in the Kingdom of Ireland Mariner do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following and to consider the Dangers and Perills of this Life and the Dangers of the Seas also in hopes for the Resurrection after Deathif it shall please God to depart this life I give and bequeath unto my Dear and beloved friend William Smith of Liverpool in the County of Lancashire and Robert Lust of Waterford in Ireland the remaining part of my Wages due on board of the Hellingfield reserved by him for me likewise I give and bequeath to my old Ship Mates Joseph Cammock Henry Neale and William Poar the Wages that became due to me from the two Brothers Captain Ryan being received by Mrs Ann Hambleton for and amounting to seven pounds and Upwards and I do hereby nominate and appoint the said William Smith and Robert Luss to be the sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do whilst living nominate and appoint the said William Smith and Robert Luss to be my lawful Attorney for me and in my name to Sue for me and recover from any persons that now are or shall at any time become indebted to me in any summ or summes of Money whatsoever and on receipt thereof an Acquittance release or any other Discharge for me and in my Name to sign seal and Execute as well and Authentick as if were personally present and did the same myself In Witness whereof I the said John McDaniel revoking all other Will or Wills by me made as also all other powers or Letters of Attorney hereinbefore by me executed I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this third day of November in the year of our Lord 1742 and in the fifteenth of King George the Second's Reign John McDaniel his Mark (Attestation Clause) Emmanuel Francis _ John Tooley _ John Pike Proved at London 4 July 1743 PCC Prob11/728
