ARTICLES FROM THE QUEENSLANDER MENTIONING CARLOW -1891

The following persons died in the Dunwich Asylum for the
week ending 31st January: —Louis Hall, 88, native of
London, England; Richard Williams, C 4, native of Brighton,
England; Betsy Shelton, 75, native of Coventry, England;
Thomas Cummings, 31 native of Liverpool, England; NICHOLAS
KEATING, 55, native of Carlow, Ireland.

Article Mrs. Edward Ponsonby recently submitted to the
Queen and to the Empress Frederick specimens of needlework
done by the members of the Cottage Industry at Garryhill,
county Carlow, Ireland. Their Majesties expressed their
satisfaction at the manner in which the work was executed,
and made several purchases.
