WILLS: Cullen, James September 30, 1761 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Carlow Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com September 23, 2017, 1:50 pm WILLS: CULLEN, JAMES SEPTEMBER 30, 1761 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: September 30, 1761 Recorded: September 23, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I James Cullen of Slenegul in the County of Cather lough and Kingdom of Ireland Cordwainer and now a Marine in the hundredth Company of the Portsmouth Division being in an infirm State of Bodily Health but thank God of sound and disposing Mind and Memory and considering the many Accidents we are liable to uncertainties of this transitory Life do for avoiding Controversies after my decease make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say first I recommend my Soul to God that gave it and my Body to be decently interred as it shall please God to order and as for all my Worldly Estate I give bequeath and dispose thereof as followeth that is to say unto my beloved uncle Samuel Brown of Slenegul in the County of Cather lough and Kingdom of Ireland as aforesaid Cordwainer I give devise and bequeath the whole of my Worldly Estate together with all Wages Sum and Sums of Money Lands Tenements Goods Chattels and Estate whatsoever as shall be any ways due owing or belonging unto me at the time of my decease I do give devise and bequeath the same unto my said Uncle Samuel Brown aforesaid and I do hereby nominate and appoint him my said Uncle Samuel Brown aforesaid my sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills Testaments and Deeds of Gift by me at any time heretofore made and I do ordain and ratify these presents to stand and be for and as my only last Will and Testament In Witness whereof to this my said Will I have set my Hand and Seal the thirtieth day of September and in the first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third over Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith etc. and in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty one James Cullen his Mark Signed Sealed and Published in the presence of us John Hogg _ Wm Stubb _ john Cooban first Assist Surgeon at the Royal Hospital Plym 7 May 1763 Administration with Will annexed to Henry Kidgell Attorney of Samuel Brown now residing in the Kingdom of Ireland PCC Prob11/887
