WILLS: Kelly, Lawrence August 14, 1833 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Carlow Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com November 18, 2017, 10:14 am WILLS: KELLY, LAWRENCE AUGUST 14, 1833 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: August 14, 1833 Recorded: November 17, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I Lawrence Kelly of Miltown in the County of Carlow farmer being of sound and disposing mind memory and Understanding but weak in body thanks be to God and anxious to settle my affairs amongst my family whereas I am possessed of some houses and property in the city of London which was willed to me by my late Brother Edward Kelly And as to all this property whether freehold leasehold or Copyhold I direct that my Executors hereinafter named do immediately after my decease sell and dispose of same by private auction or otherwise as may appear to them most for the benefit and advantage of my children And whereas I have already provided for my Sons Edward Kelly and Thos Kelly yet being anxious to provide further for them I do hereby give and bequeath to each of them the said Edward and Thomas the sum of twenty pounds sterling to be paid to them out of the sale of said property I give and bequeath to my Son Sylvester Kelly one half of the money for which said property shall say after paying said Edward & Thomas and as to the remaining half I give and bequeath the same to be equally divided between my Son Peter and my daughter Catherine share and share alike I give and bequeath all my right title and Interest in my farm of Miltown called Tan Powers (?) farm to my said Son Sylvester he paying the rent thereof I give and bequeath to my Son Peter any Interest I may have in the farm and place I now live in on said lands of Miltown And as to all my stock of cattle horses & with what furniture I have I give and bequeath the same to my said Sons Sylvester and Peter share and share alike I hereby appoint my said Sons Sylvester and Peter Executors of this my Will to carry my intentions into effect and I do appoint them the said Sylvester and Peter my Residuary legatees Dated this 14th day of August 1833 three Law.
