WILLS: Ryan, Patrick April 20, 1782 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Carlow Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com September 20, 2017, 3:57 pm WILLS: RYAN, PATRICK APRIL 20, 1782 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: April 20, 1782 Recorded: September 20, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I Patrick Ryan late of Tinryland in the County of Carlow and Kingdom of Ireland now belonging to His Majesty's Ship Nonsuch Captn William Truscott Commnder being of sound and disposing Mind and Memory and considering the Vicissitudes and Uncertainties of this transitory Life do for avoiding Controversies after my Decease make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say first I commend my Soul to God that gave it and my Body to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to order and as for all my worldly Estate I give bequeath and dispose thereof as followeth that is to say all my Prize Money Head Money Short Allowance Money smart Money Wages Sum and Sums of Money belonging unto me at the time of my Decease as also my Interest and Property in the Lands of Kikin Madery in the Barony of Idrone and County of Carlow in the Kingdom of Ireland now in the Possession of Thomas Doyle of Athlone in the County of Kilkenny and said Kingdom unto my dearly beloved friend George Wallace late of Newtown Aros in the County of Down Ireland and now belonging to His Majesty's Ship Nonsuch And I do hereby nominate and appoint the aforesaid George Wallace my whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills Testaments and Deeds of Gift by me at any time heretofore made And I do ordain and ratify these Presents to stand and be for my only last Will and Testament In Witness whereof to this my said Will I have set my hand and Seal the twentieth Day of April and in the twenty second Year of our Sovereign Lord George the third over Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the Year of Our Lord one Thousand seven Hundred and Eighty two Patt.
