Cavan - Curry, John December 1, 1779 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Cavan Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com April 27, 2018, 5:03 pm CURRY, JOHN DECEMBER 1, 1779 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: December 1, 1779 Recorded: April 27, 2018 In the Name of God Amen I John Curry late of Drumgarton in the County of Cavan in the Kingdom of Ireland but now belonging to the Ship Britannia of Liverpool Captain John Powell Master being of sound Mind and Memory Thanks be to God do make declare constitute and appoint this my last Will and Testament this first Day of December in the twenty eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth and in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and seventy nine in manner and form following first I give and bequeath unto my beloved Brother Hugh Curry and Ellen Curry both of Drumgart in the County of Cavan and in the Kingdom of Ireland as aforesaid all such Wages Prize Money and all other such Sum and Sums of Money Goods Chattels and Estate real and personal whatsoever whether from the said Ship or Any other Ship I may belong to wherewith at the time of my Decease I shall be possessed of or invested with or that now are due or owing unto me secondly I also make nominate constitute and my said Brother Hugh Curry and Ellen Curry my Sister both of the Kingdom of Ireland my Executor and Executrix share alike of this my last Will and Testament making null and void all other Wills Legacies and Bequeathings heretofore by me made And my Will and Mind is that these Presents shall stand and remain and abide as my only true and last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my Hand and Seal the Day and Tear first above written John Currie (Attestation Clause) Charles Hamilton _ John Graham _ David Favaryll Proved at London 20 January 1784 PCC Prob11/1112
