EVICTIONS IN THE UNION, OF KILRUSH, CO. CLARE. IRELAND
DATED JULY 5TH 1848.

From Captain Kennedy to the Commissioners.

List of the names and Number of families Evicted and driven from
the lands of Gunaneatwhy since the 1st November last, the
property of Mr. Marcus KEANE, Middleman to Miss HICKMAN, Parish
of Kilmacduane and Kilrush.

Head of Family. Number in family.

O'DONNELL, Simon. 3 male, 4 female. 2 dead, house levelled, now in Poor House.

GORMAN, John. 3 male, 2 female. 2 died in Poor House. Getting out-door relief.

SCANLON, John. 4 male, 2 female. House levelled, getting outdoor relief.

O'BRIEN, Thomas. 3 male, 2 female.

MORIARTY, Widow. 3 male, 2 female. House levelled, getting outdoor relief.

O'DONNELL, Widow. 1 male, 2 female. House levelled.

MCMAHON, Widow. 1 male, 4 female.

MCNAMARA, John. 5 male, 5 female. Getting out-door relief.

BLAKE, MIChael. 1 male, 2 female. Getting out-door relief.

SCANLON, Mary. 1 male, 1 female. House levelled.

SWEENY, Thomas. 3 male, 1 female. To work for his rent, getting out-door relief.

WALSH, Martin. 3 male, 1 female.

O'DONNELL, Simon, Jnr. 3 male, 3 female.

Healy, Mary. 1 female.

It is stated that Sheedy, Mr. Keane's man, had no legal authority
to put the above tenants out or level their houses.
