Clare - Sheehan, Jeremiah July 28, 1797 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Clare Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com March 20, 2019, 4:07 pm SHEEHAN, JEREMIAH JULY 28, 1797 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: July 28, 1797 Recorded: March 20, 2019 In the Name of God Amen I Jeremiah Sheehan Seaman belonging to His Majestys Ship Valiant John Crawley Esqr Captain being weak in body but of sound & disposing Mind & Memory & considering the Perils & dangers of the Sea & uncertainties of this transitory Life do make Publish & declare this my last Will & Testament first I recoomend my Soul to God who give it & my Body I commit to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to order & as for & concerning All my worldly Estate I give bequeath & dispose of as follows that is to say All Prize Money Wages Sum & Sums of Money Lands Tenements Goods Chattles & Estate whatsoever as shall any ways be due or owing to me at the time of my decease I do give & bequeath the same unto my dear father John Sheehan living at Seamount in the Parish of Kill Macruline in the County of Clare Ireland And I do hereby nominate & appoint my said dear father John Sheehan as aforesaid sole Executor of this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking all former Wills made by me heretofore and I do hereby ordain & ratify these presents to stand & be for & as my only last Will & Testament In Witness whereof I have set my Hand & Seal to this my last Will & Testament 28th July in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred & ninety seven & in the thirty seventh Year of the Reign of King George the third over Great Britain etc. Jeremiah Sheehan Signed sealed & declared in the presence of us Jno Crawley Captain _ Th Long Master 8 November 1811 Administration with Will annexed to Lot Sheehan and Mary Sheehan Spr the lawful Children & next of kin John Sheehan dying in the lifetime of the Testator PCC Prob11/1527
