RENTAL AND PARTICULARS Of: Lot 3  GALE DAYS 25th March and 29th September

That part of the Lands of MAHON, otherwise MAGHAN, now to be sold, forms a portion
of the demense of Castle Mahon, the residence of Sir William Chatterton, Baronet, and
is situate near Blackrock Castle, in the the in the Parish of St. Finnbars, and Barony,
and County of Cork and is held under Lease bearing date, the 20th day of October, 1787
made between James CHATTERTON on the one part, and Jonas LANDER, of the other part,
part which granted and demised the lands and premises therein referred to for 20 years,
from 29th September, 1786, subject to a yearly rent of £41 0s. 2d.late currency, equal
to £37 17s. 1d. of the present currency, payable half-yearly on every 25th day of March
and 29th day of September; and said lease contains a covenant on the part of the lessor
for renewable thereof at the above reserved rent for such farther term and terms for years
(always reserving one half-year in reversion) as William BUSTEED, gentleman, his executors
administrators, and his assigns; he, the said Jonas LANDER,his executors,administrators,
and assigns, first paying unto said James CHATTERTON, his executors, administrators,
and assigns, one sixteenth part of such fine as the said James CHATTERTON &cc,
should from time to time pay in obtaining such renewal from the said William BUSTEED. &cc.
By indorsement on said lease it was agreed that, after the death of the then Incumbent,
William BUSTEED was to pay one half of any future renewal fine, and James CHATTERTON
the other half, so that the one sixteenth in said lease mentioned,was to amount to
one thirty-second part of whatever future renewal fine should be paid to the Prebendary
of Christ Church.
The last renewal bears date the 21st August 1846, and was made by Sir William A.
CHATTERTON to John LANDER, for twenty years from the 8th day of February, 1846.

RENTAL AND PARTICULARS Of: Lot 4 GALE DAYS 25th March and 29th September

That part of the lANDS of BALLINAMOUGHT, now offered for Sale, forms a portion of
the demense of Belleville, the residence of Daniel MURPHY, Esq. and is situate
between the Middle and Lower (Glanmire-road) with an entrance from the latter opposite
Water-street, and in the Parish of Saint Anne, Shandon, and the City of Cork and is
free from tith rent-charge.  The CORK and YOUGAL Railway will go directly through this
Lot, thereby considerably increasing its value; and is held under lease bearing date
the 7th day of October, 1788, made between William FARRINGTON of the one part, and
Jonas LANDER of the other part for 900 years, from the 29th September, 1788, subject
to the yearly rent of £22 15s. late currecny, equal to £21 of the present currency.

Covenant on the part of the lessor to allow the lessee full and free liberty to land
and ship from the Western Quay on DRING'S Marsh, and draw from thence all materials

RENTAL AND PARTICULARS Of: Lot 5 GALE DAYS 25th March and 29th September

The Houses and Premises, No. 26 GRAND PARADE, are situate in the most central
and business part of the City of Cork, in the Parish of The Holy Trinity and
are occupied by Messrs. KEANE and TURNBULL, Military and Naval Tailors, who have
expended a very considreable sum of money thereon in valuable and lasting
improvements, and have within the last month erected a handsome plate-glass
window in the shop, thereby making it one of the first of the kind in the city,
and are held under lease bearing date the 28th day of September, 1770, made between
James TINDAL of the one part and Jonas LANDER of the other part which granted and
demised the premises therein referred to, with the full benefit of the said
James TINDAL in the quay, facing the house, for 700 years from the 1st August, 1789
subject to the yearly rent of £24 late currency, equal to £22 3s. 1d of the present
currency payable half-yearly on every 1st February and 1st August.

RENTAL AND PARTICULARS Of: Lot 6 GALE DAYS 25th March and 29th September

The premises No. 7, NILE-street, and 16 JAMES-street, are situate in the parish
of St. Peter and the City of Cork, and occupied by improving and solvent tenants,
and are held under lease bearing date the 17th day of March, 1732, made between
John BARON and Edward RANDOLL for 948 years, from the 25th March, 1734, subject
to the yearly rent (for the fifth year and every year after) of £6, late currency,
equal to £5 10s 9-1/4d of the present currency.
The said lease contains (besides the usual clause) a clause of surrender at the
end of every seven years, and a covenant that any wall built between the premises,
and any adjoining premises of the Lessor, shall be built on equal parts of both said
premises; and a covenant against converting the premises or any part of same into a
tan yard, or slaughter-house, or selling them for that purpose, with a penalty of an
additional rent of £10 for each of the premises so converted, and a covenant to pay
both said rents.

attached to the south Presentation Convent, all beingsituate in the Parish
of St. Nicholas, and City of Cork, and are held under lease bearing date the
4th day of May, 1767, made between William LOVE of the one part and Samuel
HARTWELL of theother part, for 700 years, from May 1st, 1767, subject to the

RENTAL AND PARTICULARS Of: Lot 8 GALE 	DAYS 25th March and 29th September

The premises in George's-street are situate Nos. 113 and 114 in said street,
in the Parish of The Holy Trinity, and the City of Cork, and are held under
lease bearing date the 21st day of October, 1778, made between John LAULBE of the
first part and Thomas STUDDERT of the second part and Richard KELLETT and
Elizabeth MADDEN third part. whereby John LAULBE, with the consent of said
Richard KELLETT and Eliza. MADDEN granted to Thomas SUDDERT the premises therein
referred to for 848 years, from the 29th September, 1778, subject to the yearly
rent of £10, late currency, equal to £9 4s 7-1/2d. present currency. payable
half-yearly on the 25 March and 29th September.  The said lease contains a proviso
that lesee may build on the wall around the premises, and has a clause of surrender
at the end of every three years endorsed on the back, on giving six months
notice in writing.
The premises in Mallow-lane are situate adjoining the premises of Mr. FOWLER, Apothocary,
in Mallow-lane aforesaid, Parish of Saint Anne, Shandon and City of Cork, and are
held under lease bearing date the 27th day of April, 1772 made between Mrs. Augusta
WEBBER and Jonas LANDER, for the term of 300 years. from the 1st of May, 1772,
subject to the yearly rent of £10, late currency, equal to £9 4s 7-1/2d. present currency
payable half-yearly on every 1st November and 1st May.

RENTAL AND PARTICULARS Of: Lot 9 GALE DAYS 25th March and 29th September

The premises in Rutland-street, form portion of the extensive malting concerns
of Messrs. BEAMISH and CRAWFORD; are situate in Rutland-street aforesaid,
Parish of St. Nicholas and City  of Cork, and are held under lease bearing
date the 23rd day of August, 1782, made between John BRADSHAW and Jonas
LANDER for the term of 600 years, fromthe 25th day of March, 1783, subject
to the yearly rent of £2 6s. late currency, payable on every 29th September
and 25th March.
But by deed of assignment bearing date the 19th of October, 1784, and made
between the said John BRADSHAW and the said Jonas LANDER, in consideration
of  £34 2s. 6d., the said John BRADSHAW granted, released and discharged the
said Jonas LANDER from the rent of  £2 6d. for ever and paying in lieu
thereof one pepper-corn; and said deed contained a covenant by John BRADSHAW
to idemnify Jonas LANDER from anyhead rent payable out of the premises and gave
him power of distress on the residue of the premises assigned to said
John BRADSHAW by one Thomas WILSON, in case said Jonas LANDER or his
Representatives should have to pay any of the head rent.

RENTAL AND PARTICULARS Of: Lot 10 GALE DAYS 25th March and 29th September

The premises No. 1 Montpellier Terrace, are situate on Military or Middle Glanmire
Road, in Parish of St. Anne Shandon, and City of Cork. The Dwelling House has
flower garden and stable attached, and is beautifully situate, commanding a full
view of the river.  The house is in good order, but at present unoccupied, and
immediate possession of same can be had, and is held under lease bearing date
24th April, 1833, made between William FITZPATRICK AND John LANDER for the term
of 890 years from the 24th April 1833, subject to the yearly rent of £25, payable
half-yearly on every 1st November and 1st May.
The said lease contains a covenant by lessor and lessee, to keep and repair the
ways and passages leading to the premises from the new Ballyhooly-road and old
Yougal-road, and also their piers, gates, and steps, leading into same and paint
the two gates once in every two years. and each pay a proportional part of the
expenses according to the number of houses built by lessor, with power to lessor
to distrain for lessee's part of said expenses, in case of non-payment by him, and
power to retain out of the rents, the lessor's part of the expenses, if not paid
by him,
