Cork - Sullivan, Mary Toomjey June 1, 1911 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Cork Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosemary Nunnally rosemarykn@comcast.net May 15, 2010, 10:35 pm SULLIVAN, MARY TOOMJEY JUNE 1, 1911 Mrs. Mary (Toomey), wife of Timothy Sullivan, died on Thursday night, June 1, having been in poor health for more than a year. Mrs. Sullivan was born in County Cork, Ireland, and came to this country when a young woman, some fifty or sixty years ago. Mrs. Sullivan leaves a good name behind her. She was an estimable woman, respected and beloved by all her neighbors and friends. The funeral was held from the Sacred Heart church on Saturday morning with a large attendance and interment in St. Mary's cemetery, Ayer. She is survived by her husband and five children, three daughters - Catherine and Annie Sullivan, and Mrs. Mary Scully; also, two sons - Timothy and Jeremiah Sullivan. Two other children, their eldest son Patrick, a business man in Boston, and their youngest daughter Margaret, died only a few years ago.
