This is the last Will and Testament of me Ellen Cochrane 
Widow of the late James Cochrane Esqr I Ellen Cochrane being 
of sound mind do bequeath my property in the manner 
following In the Name of God Amen I bequeath my soul to God 
trusting that he will pardon my manifold sins through the 
atoning merits of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through 
whom and for whose sake alone I trust for salvation I 
bequeath to my dearest Daughter Ellen Wife of Silver Charles 
Oliver Esqr of Inchera County of Cork all the money I may 
die possessed of either funded at my Banker's or otherwise 
invested at the time of my decease (with the exception of 
five hundred pounds sterling to be hereafter specified) also 
my diamonds and other Property with the exceptions hereafter 
named To my dearest Son William Edward Cochrane I bequeath 
my gold repeater which was his Grandfather's To my dearest 
Grandson James Henry Cochrane I bequeath the sum of five 
hundred pounds sterling He is the Son of my late lamented 
beloved Son James Gwatkin Cochrane I constitute my dearest 
Daughter Ellen my sole Executrix & desire that whatever may 
come to her at my decease may be at her sole disposal & I 
charge her to present to my most valued & dear friend John 
Colesborough Ravenshaw Esqr a gold snuff box of the value of 
fifty pounds or any other remembrance which he might prefer
