Cork - Donnoghue, Joanna January 4, 1754 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Cork Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com January 7, 2018, 3:15 pm DONNOGHUE, JOANNA JANUARY 4, 1754 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: January 4, 1754 Recorded: January 7, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I Johanna Donnoghue of the City of Corke Widow being weak in Body but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following to wit first I recommend my Soul to Almighty God and my Body to be buried in such manner as my Executors hereinafter named shall direct and as for and concerning all my Worldly Substance of what nature or kind soever of what nature or kind soever as I shall dye seized Possessed of or entitled unto at the time of my decease I leave and bequeath the same in manner as hereinafter mentioned that is to say first I leave and bequeath unto my two Sons Dennis Donnoghue and John Donnoghue one English Shilling Each and no more unto my Daughter Ellen Granahan wife of Thomas Granahan of the City of Corke Shopkeeper Ten Pounds Sterling in full of all Demands which She or her husband may have or Claim to from mine Executors or Administrators I leave and bequeath unto my Neice Margaret Barrett Widow the Sum of forty Shillings Sterling I also leave and bequeath to the Poor Debtors of the City and County Goales of Corke the sum of fifty Shillings each Goal in the whole to the Sum of five Pounds Sterling to be distributed to Such Poor Debtors as my Executors shall think Proper and as to the residue and remainder of all my Worldly Substance Household Goods furniture and other my Personal Estate and Effects of what nature soever as I shall dye seized Possessed of or be intitled unto together with the Lease of my Dwelling House and all my Right Tythe Term and Interest therein I leave and bequeath the same and every part thereof after payment of the above bequests Legacies funeral Expences and all my just Debts which I Shall owe at the time of my death unto my Daughter Jane Collins wife of James Collins of the City of Corke Shopkeeper her Executors Administrators and Assigns And I Do hereby nominate constitute and appoint Bartholomew Collins and John Hearne both of the said City Shopkeepers Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seale the fourth day of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and fifty four Joanna Donnoghue (Attestation Clause) Carlt Daly _ John Verdon 26 August 1755 Adminstration with Will annexed to John Donnoghue lawful Attorney to Jane Collins Executors having renounced PCC Prob11/817
