Cork - Ewings, Edward January 29, 1705 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Cork Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com March 21, 2018, 4:57 pm EWINGS, EDWARD JANUARY 29, 1705 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: January 29, 1705 Recorded: March 21, 2018 In the Name of God Amen I Edward Ewings of Youghall in the County of Corke Mariner belonging to her Majesty's Ship Monmouth being in bodily health and of sound and disposing mind and memory and considering the perills and dangers of the Seas and other uncertainties of this transitory life (Doe for avoiding controversies after my decease) make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) first I recommend my Soul to God that gave it and my body I committ to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to order And as for and concerning all my worldly Estate I give bequeath and dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say) after all my just Debts are paid off and discharged All the Rest Residue and Remainder of all and singular such Wages Summe and Summes of money Lands Tenements Goods Chattels and Estate whatsoever as shall be any ways due owing or belonging unto me at the time of my Decease I doe give devise and bequeath the same unto my loving Wife Christian Ewings of Youghall aforesaid forever And I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Christian Ewings Executrix of this my last Will and Testament Hereby revoking all former and other Wills Testaments and Deeds of Gift by me at any time heretofore made And I doe ordaine and ratifie these presents to stand and be for and as my only last Will and Testament In Witness whereof to this my said Will I have sett my hand and Seale the Nine and twentieth day of January Anno Domini One thousand Seaven hundred and foure And in the Third yeare of the Reigne of her Majesty Queen Anne over England etc. Edward Ewings Signed Sealed and published in the presence of us Mathias Pyn _ Alce Fudge _ Wm Holloway Scr dwelling in Shad Thames Southwark Proved at London 27 October 1708 PCC Prob11/504
