In the Name of God Amen I William Haly of the City of Cork 
Mariner make this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking 
and annulling all other Will & Testaments by me hitherto 
made in the first place I bequeath my Soul to God who gave 
it and my Body to the Earth from whence it came

Secondly I will and desire that all my lawful Debts be
speedily discharged by my hereinafter mentioned Exors

Thirdly I leave and bequeath to my Nephew James Bernard
Francis Bernard Robert Burnard and Edward Barnard the Sum of
five hundred and thirty seven pounds ten shillings British
each to be placed at Interest for their Advantage & to be
paid to them together with the Accumulated increase on their
respectively attaining the Age of twenty one Years or their
entering into such Business or Profession on their own
Account as they shall have chosen

fourthly I leave and bequeath to my Nephew William Haly the
Sum of six hundred Pounds due to me by his father and for
which I have his two Bonds for that Amount Subject to the
same restrictions as imposed on the aforementioned Bernards

fifthly I leave and bequeath to my Niece Lelia Haly the Sum
of five hundred Pounds to my Niece Elizabeth Haly three
hundred Pounds and to my Niece Charlotte Haly the Sum of
three hundred Pounds together with the accumulated Interest
accruing therefrom to be paid to them on the Day of their
Marriage respectively or on their attaining the Age of
twenty five Years if not before that period married

Sixthly I leave and bequeath to Miss Eleanor Donovan Niece
to my esteemed friend Thomas Forrest Esqr the Sum of two
hundred Pounds

Seventhly I leave and bequeath the sum of one hundred pounds
to be equally expended on the relief of such Poor objects as
my Exors shall select & in such other Acts of Charity as
have been verbally pointed out to them by me

Eighthly I will and desire that in case any one of my above
mentioned Nephews or Nieces shall die before he or she shall
attain the Age above specified the Legacy hereby intended
for such Nephew or Niece so dying shall be equally divided
among the surviving Children of my Brother James Haly share
and share alike

Ninthly I leave and bequeath to John Long of Rathconwey in
the County of Cork Esqr the Sum of forty five Guineas forty
of which he is to dispose of according to my verbal
Directions already given to him and the remaining five
guineas to buy a ring as a memorial of his esteem and regard
and I hereby constitute and appoint the Reverend Robert
McCarthy of Cork the Reverend James Walsh of Passage and
John Long Esqr aforesaid to be Executors of this my last
Will and Testament Wm Haley with my own Hand Cork May 16th
1810

My Property consists of the following Sums of £2150 in the 
British in the three per Cent reduced fund for the receiving 
the Interest of which Messrs Gorman Brothers of London have 
my power of Attorney £1400 in Lord Donnoghue's Bond £600 in 
James Haly's Bond which are in my desk in the care of Miss 
Eleanor Donovan Wm Haly
Proved at London 11 March 1812 to John Long power reserved
to other Executors
