Cork - Herregan Or Harregan Or Horigan, Timothy June 13, 1740 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Cork Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com September 15, 2017, 12:42 pm HERREGAN OR HARREGAN OR HORIGAN, TIMOTHY JUNE 13, 1740 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: June 13, 1740 Recorded: September 15, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I Timothy Herregan Mariner belonging to his Majesty's Ship Dorsetshire being in Bodily Health and of sound and disposing Mind and Memory and considering the Perils and Dangers of the Seas and other uncertaintys of this Transitory Life Do for avoiding Controversys after my decease make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following That is to say first I recommend my Soul to God that gave it and my Body I commit to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God and as for and concerning my Worldly Estate I do give bequeath and dispose thereof as follows That is to say first my Will is that all my just Debts be paid and discharged And as for what remains of all Wages Sum and Sums of Money Lands Tenements Goods Chattells and Estate whatsoever as shall be anyways due owing or belonging unto me at the time of my Decease I do give devise and bequeath the same unto my loving Wife Mary Herregan and to James and Timothy Harregan my dear Children of the City of Cork equally alike And I do hereby nominate and appoint the said Mary Herregan my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills Testaments and Deeds of Gift by me at any time heretofore made And I do ordain and ratify these Presents to stand and be as and for my only last Will and Testament In Witness whereof to this my said Will I have set my Hand and Seal the thirteenth day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and forty and in the Twentieth year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the Second over Great Britain etc. Timo: Horigan Sign's seal'd publish'd and declar'd in the presence of us Geo Lancaster, John Stanfield, Jerremiah McCarthy Proved at London 3 March 1746/7 PCC Prob11/753
