Wills: McCorkill, George June 24, 1791 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Derry Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com November 28, 2017, 4:08 pm WILLS: MCCORKILL, GEORGE JUNE 24, 1791 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: June 24, 1791 Recorded: November 28, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I George McCorkill late of Londonderry in the Kingdom of Ireland but now in London Mariner being in bodily health and of sound and disposing Mind and Memory and considering the Perils and dangers of the Seas and other uncertainties of this transitory life do for avoiding Controversies after my decease make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) first I recommend my Soul to God that gave it and my body I commit to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to order and as for and concerning all my worldly Estate I Give bequeath and dispose thereof as followeth that is to say wages sum and sums of money Lands Tenements Goods Chattels and Estate whatsoever as shall be in any ways due owing or belonging unto me at the time of my decease I do Give devise and bequeath the same unto my Sister Jane the Wife of Peter Blyth and my Sister Mary McCorkill Spinster both now or late of London Derry aforesaid to be equally divided between them or their respective heirs share and share alike and I do hereby nominate and appoint my friend Murty Cullin of Wapping Street in the County of Middlesex Biscuit Baker sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills Testaments and Deeds of Gifts by me at any time heretofore made and I do ordain and ratify these presents to stand and be for and as my only last Will and Testament In Witness whereof to this my said Will I have set my hand and Seal the twenty fourth day of June in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety one and in the thirty first year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the third over Great Britain etc Geo: McCorkill signed sealed published and declared in the presence of Isaac Dupree _ Florence Mahoney I doth appoint James Fenney to be one of the Executors Proved at London with a Codicil 20 April 1791 to Murty Cullen power reserved to James Feany PCC Prob11/1210
