Donegal - Ovens, John May 25, 1848 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Donegal Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com December 26, 2020, 12:11 pm OVENS, JOHN MAY 25, 1848 Source: National Archives Kew Written: May 25, 1848 Recorded: December 26, 2020 Extracted from the Registry of the Court of Prerogative in Ireland In the Name of God Amen I John Ovens formerly of Corcloon in the County of Fermanagh late a Captain in Her Majestys 57th Regiment of Foot do make this my last Will and Testament I give devise and bequeath to my dear Wife Louisa Ovens otherwise Mitchell the interest of the sum of one thousand pounds during her natural life and after her death said sum of one thousand pounds to go to such of our children who may survive her by such shares and proportions as she by her last Will or by deed appoint I give devise and bequeath all other property of which I shall die seized possessed or entitled unto to such of our children as shall be living at the time of my decease or be born in due time after to be apportioned amongst them and paid to them at such times and in such shares as my said wife may by her last Will or by deed appoint in default of such appointment by my said Wife then all my said property to go after my decease to such of our said children who shall survive her and not theretofore have received their share or proportion of my said property share and share alike I nominate and appoint my said wife Executrix of this my Will given under my hand and seal this 25th day of May one thousand eight hundred and forty eight John Ovens (Attestation Clause) Robert Keys Solicitor Fort Lodge Enniskillen _ James ??.
