To the memory of Alexander Legge of Malone, Esq. son of William Legge, Esq., who departed this life on the fifth day of September 1777, aged 71 years and of Mary, his wife who departed this life, on the first day of March 1783, aged 63 years. Also of their son-in-law, Hill Wallace, Esq., Captain 14th Regiment of Foot who departed this life, on the 29th day of April 1794, aged 40 years. Also of Ellen Legge, wife of the above Hill Wallace, Esq. died in London aged 90 years and their daughter, Ellen Wallace died, and was interred, at Cheltenham on the 12th of April 1879 in her 91st year. 2 Here lyeth the body of Henry Scott of De[ri]aghy who died the 24th of May 1710 aged 75 years allso Elizabeth Maxwell, his wife, died ye 14th of Mar- 1708 aged 77 years. Here lyeth the body of Murtha McCall who dep Januy 24, 1726 aged 67 also his wife who died July 18, 1760 aged 89. 3 This stone was erected by Richard Joy-Coats, of Ballyfinnaghy, in memory of his wife, Elizabeth, who died 7th of July, 1813 aged 60 years. Also of his daughter, Jane who died in the year 1790 aged 6 months. Also the above named Richard Joy-Coats who departed this life 2nd July 1829 aged 84 years. 4 Erected by the Falls Friendly Society to the memory of Lieutenant Arthur Woods who departed this life the 26th July 1845 aged 77 years. [Arms.} 5. erected by John Charley, of Finaghy, 1836, to the memory of Ralph Charley, his great grandfather, who died at Finaghy 6th August 1756 aged 82. Elizabeth, his wife died 9th September 1748 aged 64. John Charley, his grandfather, died 6th April 1793 (or 1798) aged 81. Jane, his wife, died 9th August 1781 aged 66. John Charley, his father died 26th January 1812 aged 68. Anne-Jane, his wife died 3d February 1818 aged 60. And the above-named John Charley who died 27th September 1844 aged 60 years. Matthew Charley, of Finaghy House, second son of John Charley (secundus) and brother of the last named John Charley who died at Spa in Belgium on the 23rd day of September 1846 aged 58 years. He is interred here. Maryanne Charley, his wife died the 2nd of October 1866 aged 69 years. John Stouppe Charley, of Finaghy House, eldest son of the said Matthew Charley and Maryanne Charley and nephew of the above John Charley, he died the 14th day of April 1878 aged 52 years. 6. Erected by St John Coates, Ballyfinaghy, in memory of his beloved wife, Jane Coates, who departed this life the 12th day of Novr 1841 aged 56 years. Also his son James Coates who died 11th Decr 1847 aged 36 years. Here are interred the above named St. John Coates who died 19th Jan 1863 aged 78 years : his son Adam Coates who died 9th Dec' 1871 aged 63 years. Also his grand children, John Rice Coates who died 19th July 1878 aged 12 years; also Jane and Dorothea who died in infancy. Also his son St John Coates who died 7th Dec 1881 aged 65 years. 7. Erected by Simeon Coates, of Ballyfinaghy, in memory of his mother, Mary Coates, who departed this life 16th December 1812 aged 91 years. Also of his wife, Agnes Coates, who departed this life 14th April 1823 aged 70 years. Here lieth also the body of the above named Simeon Coates who died Feby 2nd 1830 Æ 81 years. 8. Erected to the memory of Arthur Martin, of Malone, who died 3rd August 1817 aged 54 years. Also two of his children, Robert and Hariott, who both died young. And also the memory of his wife, Meary Ann Martin, who died 9 of October 1824 aged 55 years. Also his daughter, Nessay Syers, who died in 1848 aged 45 years. 9. Here lieth the remains of Eleanor Rusk who departed this life 7th January 1796 aged 49 years. Also Samuel Rusk who departed this life 26th Novr 1808 aged 36 years. 10. Erected by William Allen to the memory of his father, Richard Allen who died the 10th July 1811 Æ 59 years. Also his mother, Jane Allen who died the 14th of Feby 1826 Æ 80 years. Also his daughter, Sarah Allen who died the 26th of Novr 1832 Æ 3½ years. 11. Here lyeth the body of John Thompson who departed this life Aprile the 1 day 1765 aged 88 years. 12. Here lies the remains of the late John Dormand, Painter of Lisburn, who departed this life on the 24th of March 1791 aged 33 years. 13. Erected to the memory of John Coats, of Ballyfinaghy, who died the 26th Decr 1811 aged 64 years. Also four of his children who died in infancy. Also in memory of his wife, Jane, who departed this life the 23rd day of Decr 1820 aged 60 years. Also in memory of his son, John Coats who departed this life the 29th of Novr 1822 aged 33 years. 14. Here lyeth the body of David McCance, of Mulliganstown, who departed this life the 22nd of May 1747 aged 63 years. Also his wife, Isabella McCance, who departed this life the 29th of August 1724 aged 55 years. Here lyeth the body of Rachael McCance, late wife to John McCance, of Dunmurry, who departed this life the 3rd of June 1753 aged 45 years. Also four of her children, David, Isabella, John and Hugh. Likewise the above named John McCane, of Dunmurry, who departed this life on the 7th of April 1786 aged 75 years. And his second wife, Easter McCance, who departed this life on the 1st of August 1779 aged 60 years. Here lyeth the body of William McCance, of Mulligans Town who departed this life 17th Feby 1733 aged 60 years. Also David MCance, son of the last mentioned John McCance, who departed this life 26th October 1793 aged 57 years. And his wife, Jane McCanse, who departed this life 9th July 1842 aged 82 years. Likewise John McCance, of Greenview, son of the last mentioned David McCance, who departed this life 19th March 1807 aged 23 years: and his sister, Sarah McCance, who departed this life 16th May 1845 aged 63 years. Also Mary Eliza McCance, relict of the last mentioned John McCance, who departed this life the 6th June 1859 aged 73 years. 15. Erected A.D. 1827 by John McCance of Suffolk in memory of Maria McCance, of Roseland who died on 12th July 1804 aged 20 years. William McCance, of Suffolk, Esq, who died on the 9th July 1810 aged 61 years. John McCance, of Farmhill, Esq, who died on the 25th Jany 1811 aged 67 years. Jane McCance, of Suffolk, who died on the 16th March 1812 aged 30 years. Jane McCance, of Farmhill who died on the 9th of Feby 1818 74 years. 16.
