In the Name of God Amen I Timothy Carney of Irish Town in 
the County of Dublin in the Kingdom of Ireland being now 
weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and memory have 
and by these Presents do make this my last Will and 
Testament in manner and form following that is to say first 
I commit my Soul to God that gave it And my body to the 
Earth or Sea to be buried in a Christian like and decent 
manner at the discretion of my Executrix And as to what 
worldly Effects Providence hath pleased to bless me with I 
give and bequeath in manner and form following first my just 
Debts and funeral charges being paid I give and bequeath to 
my loving friend Samuel Raymond of Deptford in the County of 
Kent and his heirs All and every my wearing Apparel and 
bedding which I have on board his Majesty's Ship Ludlow 
Castle to which I now belong as his or their proper Goods 
and chattells to his and their proper use and uses for ever 
Secondly I give and bequeath to my youngest Sister Margaret 
Carney and to the first Child of my eldest Sister Rose 
Carney born in Wedlock and their Heirs the two Tenements in 
Irish Town in the County of Dublin and Kingdom of Ireland 
aforesaid to be equally divided between my said Sister 
Margaret Carney and the said first Child of my Sister Rose 
Carney born in Wedlock and their heirs the two Tenements 
belonging to me in Irish Town in the County of Dublin and 
Kingdom of Ireland aforesaid to be equally divided between 
my said Sister Margaret Carney and the said first Child of 
my Sister Rose Carney born in Wedlock as their proper Goods 
and Chattles to their proper use and uses for ever Lastly I 
give unto my loving Wife Hannah Carney All the Wages Prize 
money Short Allowance money and other that is or shall 
become due to me on board his Majesty's Ship Ludlow Castle 
above said or other Ships whatever and to her Heirs for ever 
as her or their proper Goods and Chattles to her or their 
proper use and uses for ever and I do hereby constitute and 
appoint my said Wife Hannah Carney sole Executrix of this my 
last Will and Testament and I likewise disallow revoke and 
disannul all former Wills and Testaments Gifts Grants or 
Legacies whatsoever ratifying this and no other as my last 
Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto put my 
hand and Seal this Twenty fifth day of June 1720 Timothy 
Carney Signed sealed published pronounced and declared as 
the last Will and Testament of Timothy Carney in the 
presence of us William Donovan  George Gardner  Michl Doyle
