JOHN OF GALWAY NOVEMBER 3, 1849, Limerick And Clare Examiner November 3, 1849 We take the following from the Irish American (New York), the Editor of which is Mr P. Lynch, formerly Proprietor and Editor of this Journal. The account contains, besides the fullest list of passengers, lost and living, which we have yey seen, particulars highly creditable to the American character, and parties by whom exertions the mosy benevolent were made, to rescue and relieve the sufferers with the most intrepid humanity and kindness. Captain SNOW, of Cohasetm and others either exerted themselves to save the perishing people, or received and succoured, when tottering and dripping on the shore, the woe-worn homeless and afflicted strangers, who escaped:- Hanora COUNLIN, lost three children, is now lying very sick, and suffering from her injuries, at the house of Mr. LANTHROP, in Cohasset, Mary or Hanora BURKE, also lost three children and is at Mr. LOTHROP'S sick; her husband is in Ireland.
