BIRTHS.

On the 8th inst, in Upper Camden Street, the lady of John 
DWYER, esq., of a son.

On the 5th inst, at Richmond Barracks, the lady of Captain 
BRISTOW, of a son, still born.

On the 5th inst, at Bellevue, Rosstrevor, the lady of Samuel 
M'CALL, esq., of a son.

On the 6th inst, at Swainstown, Co. Meath, the lady of 
Nathaniel PRESTON, Esq., of a son and heir.

On the 7th inst at Baltracy House, Co. Kildare, the lady of 
Samuel WALSH, Esq., of a son.

On the 6th inst at Devonport, the lady of Captain MAITLAND, 
of the 24th Regiment, of a daughter.

On the 8th March, at Fort William, Calcutta, the lady of 
Captain COOK, Paymaster of her Majesty's 10th Regiment, of a 
son.

On the 14th March, at Poonamallee, Bengal, the lady of 
Captain SMEDLEY, of her Majesty's 63rd Regiment, of a son.

DEATHS.

On the 8th inst, at 41 Kildare Street, after a few days 
illness, and in the prime of life, Mademoiselle Adelaide Le 
MERCIER. Although but a few months in our city, she made and 
enjoyed the confidence of many and most respectable friends, 
who now deplore her premature demise.

At Maglass, Co. Kerry, of decline, the Rev. James DUNN, 
Catholic Curate, much regretted.

At the Franciscan Convent, Galway, aged 75 years, Sister 
Mary Anthony BURKE.

On the 6th inst, at Morne Rectory, Kilkeel, Mrs Close, wife 
of the Rev. John CLOSE.

On the 5th inst, at Downpatrick, Jane Lucie, wife of the 
Rev. J. FORD, and second daughter of William Edmund KELLY, 
esq., of Hillsborough.

On the 4th inst, Charles BURKE, Esq., of Melon-Hill, and 
formerly of Clohenagerah, Co. Mayo.

On the 3rd inst, in Galway, of fever, Catherine, wife of 
R.P. MacDONNELL, Esq.

At Rosstrevor, Charity, relict of William BROWNLOW, Esq., of 
Lurgan, who for a number of years represented in Parliament 
the County Armagh.

In Derry, aged 77 years, Mrs Christie, relict of Rev. David 
CHRISTIE, Rector of Tamlaghtard, in the Diocese of Derry.

On the 2nd inst, at Fortwilliam, Co. Wicklow, aged 94 years, 
Mrs Elizabeth ORMSBY.

On the 4th inst, at St. Leonards-on-Sea, Matilda Caroline, 
daughter of the late William RAINSFORD, esq., of Elmgrave, 
Co. Dublin.

In the 22nd ult, at Rome, Emily, second daughter of the Lord 
Bishop of Tuam, and granddaughter of Lord PLUNKETT.

At Farley, Staffordshire, aged 82 years, Annie, third wife 
of William TALBOT, esq., of Castle Talbot, Co. Wexford.

On the 2nd inst, Kate Ellen, eldest daughter of the late 
Maurice BLAKE, Esq., of Ross Lodge, Co. Galway.

At Loughil, County Limerick, Mrs Agnes FITZMAURICE, mother 
of Maurice FITZMAURICE, Esq., aged 96 years.

On the 5th inst, at Mount Phillips, Co. Tipperary, William 
PHILLIPS, esq., aged 67 years.

On the 25th ult, at Cologne, Frances, wife of Captain 
WILLIAMS, of the Royal Engineers.

On the 2nd inst, at Brighton, Captain Henry LANE, of the 
Royal Artillery.

On the 3rd inst, at Epping-Place, on his way from Norwich to 
Dorking, for the benefit of his health, Major Augustus 
Wathen, of the 13th Light Dragoons, formerly of the 15th 
Hussars.
