Wills: Denny, Thomas March 17, 1767 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Kerry Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com October 24, 2017, 2:52 pm WILLS: DENNY, THOMAS MARCH 17, 1767 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: March 17, 1767 Recorded: October 24, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Denny of Tralee in the County of Kerry in the Kingdom of Ireland but now of Caen in Normandy in the Kingdom of France being of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding but considering the Uncertainty of Human Life and how mush every person is bound before God and Man to do all Mankind Justice as far as in him lies to provide for those he ought to provide for and thereby save much Confusion and Distress in his family do make this my last Will and Testament and first I commend my Soul into the Hands of my Creator hoping through the Merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer for Mercy and Life Everlasting Item I will order and bequeath that my Debts be paid as soon as can be and to the Payment thereof in the first place I subject all my personal Estate of whatever kind or Nature the same may Consist of Item I will and bequeath to Monsieur Pellerve of the Academy Royal at Caen in Normandy the Sum of Twenty Pounds Item I bequeath to my Uncle Arthur Blennerhasset Esquire the sum of fifty pounds for Mourning Item I bequeath to my Dear Sister Jane Denny the Sum of One hundred pounds Item I Give and bequeath the Rest and residue of my Estate after the Payment of my Debts and Legacys aforesaid to my beloved Mother Lady Denny and I do nominate and appoint my Uncle Arthur Blennerhasset Esquire abovementioned my Executor to this my last Will and Testament I have set my hand and seal this seventeenth day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and sixty seven Thomas Denny (Attestation Clause) Wm Combes _ Saml Barrett Proved at London 6 June 1767 PCC Prob11/929
