Wills: Gallwey, Thomas January 18, 1815 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Kerry Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com September 1, 2018, 4:03 pm WILLS: GALLWEY, THOMAS JANUARY 18, 1815 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: January 18, 1815 Recorded: September 1, 2018 In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Gallwey of Farmhill in the County of Kerry being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make this my last will and testament I desire in the first place that all my just debts and funeral expences be paid by my executors I leave and bequeath unto my son Stephen Gallwey & my daughters Lucy Gallwey Theresa Gallwey and Jane Gallwey all and whatsoever sum and sums of money I may be intitled to in and by the will of Lieut Colonel Denis Mahony of the East India Company's service or any distributive share of his estate assets or effects whatsoever as also all and whatsoever estate or estates or freehold interests I may have in any lands tenements or hereditaments or chattles real And All and whatsoever goods and chattles or Property whatsoever I may die seized possessed of or entitled in possession remainder or reversion to go to and be divided among my said son Stephen and my said daughters Lucy Theresa and Jane share and share alike as tenants in common and not as joint tenants each having a power of disposing of his or her share or shares as he she or they may think proper and of this my will I do leave and bequeath my daughter Lucy Gallwey and my friend Thomas Collins Dumas Executors dated this 18th day of January 1815 _ Thomas Gallwey (Attestation Clause) John Mahoney_ Darcy Connor _ Tim. Hurly In addition to the foregoing Will and Testament and least I may not have sufficiently and distinctly expressed my wish and intentions on certain points I do hereby add this codicil leaving and bequeathing to my within son Stephen and my daughters Lucy Jane and Teresa my entire plate household furniture that is to say beds bedding linen tables chairs etc. etc. etc. also my stock such cows sheep and horses my farming utensils of every description and any thing I am now or may be hereafter possessed or entitled to and at the same time requesting of my said beloved children Stephen Lucy Jane & Teresa if in their power to do so as I have it in mind to continue to my kind and faithful friend Mrs Cummins during her life her present moderate Salary and to consider her situation as comfortable as they can on their limitted means I also request of my beloved children to continue to my faithful servant Jeremiah Connor who has always afforded me much satisfaction his present wages during his life dated this second day of December 1817 _ Thoms Gallwey (Attestation Clause) John Morphy _ Tim.
