Wills: O'Connor, Frances August 30, 1826 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Kerry Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com January 17, 2018, 4:07 pm WILLS: O'CONNOR, FRANCES AUGUST 30, 1826 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: August 30, 1826 Recorded: January 17, 2017 In the Name of God Amen I Frances O'Connor of Dingle in the County of Kerry Widow being of sound mind and memory thanks be to God for his blessings & calling to mind the shortness & uncertainties of this transitory life do make proclaim and publish my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and annulling all & all manner of Wills or Testaments whatsoever heretofore made or mentioned to be made by me & this only to be taken & considered my sole & only last Will and Testament Viz in the first place I will that my body in case of my death should be in a decent manner buried & also my funeral expenses & any debts that may be due of me may be paid & discharged by my brother William Payne Carpenter and as to any worldly substance which I now have or may have at the hour of my death of any description whatsoever together with whatever money is after my deceased money is after my deceased Son William O'Connor Surgeon who died on board His Majesty's Brig Honiger I hereby will bequeath & devise the same in the following manner that is to say I will and bequeath unto my brother William Payne Carpenter whatever worldly substance I have at the hour of my death together with whatever interest I have in the two houses in the Green lane one in the possession of Danl Hanifin and the other in my own possession with the exception of having my sister Mary Payne live in the house I now live in during her life & have her have a bed bedstead & bedcloaths during said time and as to whatever money is coming due to me after my deceased Son William O'Connor I will and bequeath in the following manner vizt ten pounds of said sum to be paid by my Sister Mary Payne two thirds of the remainder to be paid by my brother William Payne & the remaining one third to be equally divided amongst the three Children of Danl Fenaughty namely Mary Fenaughty Ellen Fenaughty & John Fenaughty and as to whatever Cloaths & all other articles that my deceased Son Wm O'Connor was possessed of at the hour of his death I will and bequeath the same unto my brother William Payne In Witness hereof I have hereunto put my hand and affixed my seal this 30th day of August 1826 Frances O'Connor X her mark Signed sealed published & declared this to be my last Will and Testament in the presence of Robert Walsh _ John Lynch _ James Ruffe Proved at London 12 December 1826 PCC Prob11/1719
