Here Lyeth the Body of Charles KAUANAUGH
[KAVANAUGH-?] who departed this life the
12 day of March 1737 aged 61 years and also his son
Michael KAVAN'UGH who departed this life October the
12th 1759 aged 58 years. And also his 'Nevew' John
KAVANAUGH and his brothers.

THIS STONE BELONGING TO MARY CARRELL AND ALL HER
POSTARITY WHO DEPARTED THIS LIFE YE 30 DAY OF
OCTOBER 1741 AGED 52 BM [17-HEART-55] E.
'The D in the 3rd line 'and' and fith line 'departed
are reversed'

'Sacred to the memory of Denis ENNIS fon [son] to
Patrick ENNIS of Two-Mile-house he
departed this life July 20th 1808 aged 19 years.
Also his Father Denis ENNIS departed
this life Nov 17th 1786 aged 55 years and his Mother
Elinor ENNIS departed Dec 241778
aged 40 years. and his daughter Elinor departed May
7th 1800 aged 8 years also his
brother Maurice and his fister [sister] Catherine
Also MichAl ENNIS who departed this
Life June 8th, 1854.

This Stone is erected by Terence MAGEER in Memory of
his Fath'r. and Mot'r.	and Bro'rs Edw'd. James &
Philem MAGE'r. who Depar'd this Life y'e 26th of
July 1758 aged 36 years

'There is also a tablet at Carnalway in the church
to an English officer named COOKS who was killed in
a battle at Kilcullen during the Rebellion.  This is
in such a position between the organ and the wall
that it would be a matter of the greatest difficulty
to copy the inscription.'

'In the date 1789 the stonecutter at first made it
1689 and then entered the 6 to a 7.'

his brother Here lieth the Body of Richard TRAUERS who
Departed this life July y'e 24 1741.

This Stone is erected by Tho's ENNIS in Memory of
his Father  Here lieth the Body of Tho's ENNIS who
Dep'd this life Match ye 6 1784 aged 89 years also
his Wife Rose who Dep'd this life March ye 21st 1784
aged 72 years
May the Lord have mercy on their Souls amen
Also his son Thomas ENNIS who Departed this Life the
17th day of July Aged 18 years
God have mercy on his Soul
