Wills: Mulvey, William September 9, 1840 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Kildare Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com April 2, 2019, 1:01 pm WILLS: MULVEY, WILLIAM SEPTEMBER 9, 1840 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: September 9, 1840 Recorded: April 2, 2019 In the Name of God Amen I William Mulvey 90th Regt Stationed at Pt de Galle in the Island of Ceylon being sick and weak but of Sound mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of human life make this my last will and testament as follows that is to say first I desire and request my Executors that the sum of five 5 pounds Sterling be paid from my estate to the friend in need Society at Pont de Galle Second I desire that all the rest and residue of my property (after paying any of my debts) shall be inherited by my Aunt Christian Brennan in Naas in the County of Kildare Ireland as I do by these presents give and bequeath to my said Aunt but in the event of her not being alive it shall be inherited by my Uncle John Brennan and in case of his demise it is to go to his children And I nominate and appoint Captain P B Reyne Ceylon Regt and P Robertson Esquire Staff Assistant Surgeon Executors of this my last Will and Testament I hereby revoke all wills at any time heretofore made & declare this to be my sole last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have subscribed my Signature at Pt de Galle this ninth day of September one thousand eight hundred and forty William Mulvey Lance Corpl 90th LI In the presence of W A Wontersz _ P H Van Guylenberg 11 January 1842 Administration with Will annexed to Christian Brennan Spinster the Executors having renounced PCC Prob11/1956
