Erected by Michael Hayden in memory of his mother Mary Hayden alias Meany who died 20th October 1869 aged 79 yrs. 3. (Celtic cross). Erected by William Keogh, Bridge Street, Callan in memory of his father John Keogh who died 23rd Feb 1899 aged 50 yrs. His mother Anne, nee Lynch died19th March 1917 aged 75 years. The above William Keogh died 3rd Feb 1945 aged 67 yrs. His wife Mary Keogh nee Walsh died 13th may 1964 and two grandchildren. (Side of stone) Also his grandparents Michael and Margaret Keogh, and his brother Michael who died 13th March 1958. Nancy Keogh died 21st Aug 2002 aged 84 yrs. 4. In loving memory of Margaret Kenny nee O'Shea, 6 Mellowes Park who died 9th Dec 1986 aged 84 yrs. 5. In loving memory of Mary (Molly) O'Shea, 8 Mellowes Park, Callan who died 16th Nov. 1980 aged 72 yrs. Her husband Danny O'Shea who died 13th June 1986 aged 92 yrs. Also his parents Bridget and Michael. 6. In loving memory of Catherine Shelly nee Sinnott, Mellowes Park, Callan who died 10th Aug 1952. Also her parents and sisters who are interred here. R.I.P. In memory of Catherine Roche, Green Street, Callan who died 10th Dec 1966. Her daughter Mary Kate Burke died 20th April 1990 aged 73 yrs. Her granddaughters Patty and Maureen interred in London and the Isle of Man. Erected by her loving children. 9. (Iron cross). No inscription. (According to a local as recorded by KAS this is the grave of the Clifford family from Callan. One boy drowned in a quarry. Anty Clifford made sugar stick and 'peggy's leg') 10. (Sunburst with decorations) Erected by the widow Mary Smith, alias Harrison of Callan, as a token of love to Patrick Smith her affectionate husband who died the 13th of February 1832 aged 52 yrs. Also her daughter Fanny Smith who died July the 26th, 1833 aged 18 yrs. 11. Merciful Lord Jesus grant eternal rest and peace to the souls of John Marnell, Callan who died 13th Jan 1882, his wife Kate who died 13th May 1879, their son Michael died 4th Jan 1937, his wife Mary died 18th July 1917. John died 28th Nov 1920. His wife Margaret died 11th March 1949. Also Margaret died 13th Oct 1984. Her brother John died 2nd Jan 1985, and their sister Mary Kate died 11th Feb 1999 aged 101 years. (North side). Patrick Shelly, draper, Bridge St. Callan died 1882 aged 48 yrs. His wife Margaret, nee Lynch, Ahenure House died 1883 aged 34 yrs. Erected by Teresa M Shelly in memory of her beloved husband John F Shelly who died 5th July 1902. (South side) â€" The above Teresa M Shelly died 14th February 1944. John Shelly died 12th January 1973. His wife Siobhan, nee Murphy died 11th September 1997. 65. (2 slabs - numbers 65 and 66, one behind the other). (Rear slab, number 65) - This stone was erected by Pierce Murphy of Newtown in memory of his wife Catherine Murphy alias Brophy who died 18th September 1810 aged 60 yrs.
