Will: Hannahan, John April 2, 1812 *********************************************** Ireland Genealogy Projects Archives Kilkenny Index Copyright ************************************************ File contributed by: Rosalind Dunning ros.dunning@outlook.com July 11, 2017, 2:45 pm WILL: HANNAHAN, JOHN APRIL 2, 1812 Source: National Archives Kew England Written: April 2, 1812 Recorded: July 11, 2017 The last Will and Testament of John Hannahan hereby sheweth that I John Hannahan born in the County of Kilkenny and Native of Ireland and Present Prisoner of War in the Prison of Cambrai in France by the Grace of God being in perfect mind and sound understanding do bequeath and make over all my effects and property either in bills money or the like viz. to Mary Hannahan alias Mary Milronnie the sum of two hundred and seventy pounds Stg in Bills of Exchange payable by Robt Fitzhenry in whose charge I leave and Authorize the said R F to act as Extor at and after my death but in case of Accident the said R F does not bind himself answerable for the same be it further known that at the arrival of the said R F the said Mary Hannahan alias Mary Milronnie should be dead that the aforesaid mentioned sum shall be transerred over to James Hannahan at present residing in Newfoundland And be it further known that I John Hannahan has wrought for the sum of forty pounds and not having received the same Authorise the said Robert Fitzhenry to receive the amount of whatever comes being in Part of two hundred and seventy pounds aforesaid and be it further known and last of all that I John Hannahan do leave the Sum of six pounds Stg exclusive of all other sums specified to defray sundry expences in the hands of Robert Fitzhenry with the disposal of all my wearing Apparel as he thinks most fit Praying God through the Intercession of the Saviour may receive my Soul at Death I have hereunto put my mark before the Lord and these presents John Hannahan X his mark _ Witness our hands and seal Henry Pierce _ Thos Clyburn _ April 2nd 1812 Rossier Interpreter On the tenth day of April 1816 Admon with the Will annexed of the Goods of John Hannahan late a Prisoner of War in the Prison of Cambrai in France deceased was granted to Mary Milronnie otherwise Hannahan Wife of John Milronnie the sister and next of kin a Principal Legatee first sworn duly to adm Robert Fitzhenry the sole Exor died in the lifetime No Residuary Legatee PCC Prob11/1579
