(Sorted by last name) BEE, Martin, on the 28th Jan, at Newtown, died in a fit of epilepsy. BYRNE, Edward, on the 16th April, at Rathdowney, wilfully shot by person or persons unknown. CARPENTER, Elisa, on the 4th Oct, at Ballinakill, death from a stone thrown by Catherine BRENNAN. CASHEN, Edward, on the 23rd August, at Mountmellick, drowned himself. CHRISTIAN, Richard, on the 5th Feb, at Stradbally, died from injuries inflicted on the deceased by Thomas Butler, aided and assisted by Joseph Butler. COBB, Elizabeth, on the 26th July at Sraghlee, accidentally drowned. COFFEY, PETER, on the 28th Aug, at Portarlington, death caused by the upsetting of a cart. CONNOR, Daniel, on the 20th Nov., at Errill, died from visitation of God. CONROY, Charles, both died by the bursting of a high-pressure steam boiler. DONALLY, John, on the 19th March, at Timaho, died by visitation of God. DOWLING, John, on the 22nd Nov, at Congue, died from the accidental falling in of the roof of a coal-pit. DUNNE, Thomas, on the 8th March, at Drughill, accidental death from injuries received by a horse plunging under a car. FITZGERALD, Thomas, on the 28th Aug, at Portarlington, accidentally drowned. FITZPATRICK, Maria, on the 15th Oct, at Ballagague, died from being bitten by a pig. FITZPATRICK, Mary, on the 9th March, at Maryborough, accidentally poisoned by taking sulphuric acid mixed with castor oil, administered in mistake by Fanny DUNNE. GREHAN, John, on the 24th Dec, at Mountmellick, died from a fall while in a state of intoxication. HARDING, John, on the 10th April, at Carroon, accidental death, from injuries inflicted by George BEALE, deceased being in a very delicate state of health. KEEFFE, Peter, on the 23rd Sept, at Slatt, death caused by accidentally falling into a coal pit. KENNY, John, on the 1st March, at Mountmellick, MOONEY, Catherine, on the 6th Dec., at Monaquid, suicide under insanity. PETERS, James, on the 12th March, at Whitefield, accidental death by the upsetting of a cart. PURCELL, Patrick, on the 25th Sept, at Ross, death caused by mortification of the intestines. RYAN, John, on the 23rd Sept, at Nockleath, cause of death unknown. SHEAL, Mary, on the 16th Dec, at Coolkerry, death from exposure to the weather while in delicate health. SULLIVAN, Judy, on the 27th Sept., at Ballough, accidentally drowned. SULLIVAN, Patrick, on the 24th July, at Rathdowney, accidental death from a horse with a cart running away.
