Clare, | fifth son of RALPH WESTROPP of Lismehane and | Clonmoney and afterwards Attiflynn. The transept was | restored and the monument erected in 1862 in | memory of her son THOMAS JOHNSTONE WESTROPP who | died in 1839 in Madeira at the age of 20. | The story is told that when Mrs WESTROPP herself died, | the casket which was said to contain her son's body was | found to be empty.
