Christopher Hill Commander in the Harbour of Corke being of Perfect Health Mind and Memory (thanks be to Almighty God) but considering the Uncertainties of Human life and desiring to Provide for my dearly beloved Brother Do make and Publish my last Will and Testament in manner following Viz. Imprimis I Recommend my Soul to God who Gave it & my Body to the Earth to be buried after a Decent Christian manner as my Executor hereinafter named Shall Direct Item I Give and bequeath unto my dear and well beloved Brother Maurice Lacey of the Parish of St John's in Limerick in the Kingdom of Ireland my Worldly Goods and Substance both Real and Personal And I Also Give and bequeath unto my said Brother all such Sum and Sums of Money as Shall or may become due and Payable to me in any wise whatever on Account of my Service done in any of his Majestys Ships ffrigates or other Vessels belonging to his Majesty King George the Second And all such other Sum and Sums of Money which I am or may be Intitled to for Service And I do hereby Nominate Constitute and Appoint my said Dear and well beloved Brother Maurice Lacey Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament And I do hereby revoke disannul and make Void all other Wills by me formerly made ratifying and confirming this my only last and true Will and no other Witness my hand and Seal this twenty first day of ffebruary 1757 Richard Lacey (Attestation Clause) Christ.
