Here Lies the Body of John the eldest Son of CHARLES CONNELL and Ann the Daughter of JOHN O FERRALL of Mornyn Esqr. who Died the 22nd Day of Decem ber 1744 in the 16 year of his age The Said CHARLES and ANN have issue living LAURENCE and MARY CONNELL. Here lies the Body of the said CHARLES who Dyed the 26 day of May 1765 in the 76th year of his age And also the Body of the Said ANN who Dyed the 18 day of Novemr. 1767 in the 64th year of her age Here also Lieth the Body of TERCE. Arms : Between two lions combatant an oak tree, with a serpent entwined round its stem, head downwards, having in its mouth a dagger, handle protruding Crest: An arm brandishing a sword Motto: Fortitudine et Prudentia Pray for the Soul of EDMUD. O REILLY Late of Dundavan who departed This Life Septr. 15th 1774 Aged 52 years Also his son CHARLES O REILLY who deceased April 27th. 1774 Aged 16 years. "The MacKiernan Arms" [Arms, crest and motto cut here] Pray for the Soul of HUGH MAC KIERNAN, Derricassan, who Died May 12th. 1757 Aged 69 had issue 8 sons and 5 Daughters ... (The remainder is very difficult to read. It seems to recount the sons and daughters. The lettering is of an inferior type) The arms are the O'REILLY arms, with some differences: Arms : Between two lions combatant, an oak tree on a mount. In base an animal, which may be a lion walking.
